Before Lockdown, I was lucky to be asked to be involved in a charity photoshoot in aid of Farleigh Hospice. As part of their £50 challenge, photographer Ingrid Talosi organised for a professional hair and makeup styling photoshoot to be held at her studio in Chelmsford. 13 lovely silver haired ladies had their makeup done by Makeup Artist Leanne Perilly and myself and hairdressers Perri Orrin Bridal Hair specialist and Bridal Hair by Jennie.
The amazing thing about when a group of women come together is the atmosphere and energy that can be created - it was really interesting and empowering to hear their stories about embracing their silver hair. What I loved was that there was a lot of colour in their clothes and makeup and this looked beautiful against their hair.
Most importantly, over £900 was raised for the charity.
